dinning area small, but we're seated fast. Staff was doesn't have customer service qualities, although they tried they fell very short.
For starters, I tried to order chicken tenders with hashed browns instead of french fries. The waitress told me they would charge extra. I guess switching one form of potatoes for another form should cost me more? So I ordered it with no side.
Last year this was a good restaurant. Things have gone down hill drastically.
My family and I had heard great things about Bella's and decided to give it a try yesterday (9/4). We arrived a bit before noon and the restaurant was full, but the wait was about 5 minutes. We were seated and ordered our drinks and once they arrived, we placed our order. And there we sat... For more than 45 minutes. We had to get another waitress to refill our waters (she told us that our waitress is new) and finally asked the hostess to check on our order since our waitress was nowhere to be seen. The hostess came out and said that there were still two tickets ahead of ours. We asked if something had happened to hold up the kitchen so badly and were informed that 5 people had failed to show up for work that morning and they were incredibly understaffed. By this point, we had been waiting an hour for our food and decided to leave and go elsewhere. We found our waitress and informed her and she looked incredibly overwhelmed and on the brink of tears. We will never come back to Bella's.
The sweet crepes are the best! If you have never enjoyed a crepe before; this is the place. Also the French Toast was very good, I had the Floridian which jas lots of fresh fruit on top. Portions are large and prices are excellent for the amount of food you get. We will definitely be going back!
After 35 minutes, not only had our food not come out, but nobody's food was coming out. Our waitress hadn't stopped by to see if we were still alive. I decided to cancel our order and leave since it doesn't take 35 minutes to make chicken tenders and eggs.
Parking very limited due to gas station/wine store next door. Prices are just a little on high side. $10-15 per person.
Food is good .... if you can wait an hour and a half for almost your whole order .... still waiting for 90 minutes after ordering for French toast ...
I call it the "Little Elm effect". There are so few restaurants around here that people will tolerate anything and pretend like it's good. Bad food, bad service, slow service, nobody here cares.
I loved the food, but they put way too much salt. It doesn't need it. The food is great w/out it.
Took 10 minutes for our coffee and drinks to come out.
